The story of Hollywood Laundry Service Private Limited is rooted in Kolkata, where Late Ram Awatar Poddar entered the laundry and fabric-care business in 1962.
Across three generations, the family’s practical experience, work ethic and commitment to dependable service have continued to shape how we care for every order.
Today, Hollywood brings that accumulated knowledge together with modern order systems, updated cleaning processes, professional finishing and contemporary customer service.

Before processing, we review the fabric, care instructions, construction, trims, visible stains and existing condition. This helps us identify the care the article may require.
Process selection
Garments are not treated alike. The chosen process considers the material, colour behaviour, detailing, stain type and the service booked by the customer.
Finishing and quality check
After cleaning, the article is finished according to its type, checked for presentation and prepared for store collection or scheduled doorstep delivery.

How do I arrange a doorstep pickup?
Use the Book Pickup button to enter your pickup details and preferred date. For orders of fewer than five garments, an additional pickup charge may apply and will be confirmed when you book. For booking assistance, call +91 92301 94904.
How is the final price decided?
The price depends on the article, selected service, fabric, construction and detailing. Published rates marked as minimum charges may increase for heavy work, embroidery or special handling. Applicable taxes and additional services are charged separately.
How long will my order take?
Completion time varies by article and service. The expected date is confirmed when the order is booked; specialist articles may require additional time.
Can every stain be removed?
No cleaning process can guarantee complete stain removal. Results depend on the stain type, age, fabric, colour fastness and any treatment attempted before submission.
How are delicate, branded or bridal garments handled?
The fabric, construction, trims, embellishment, care label and visible condition are assessed before processing. The suitable service is then selected according to the article and the care it requires.
Can I request urgent service?
Urgent service depends on the article, required process and available completion time. Please confirm availability and the applicable charge with the store before booking.
What should I mention when handing over articles?
Please point out known stains, delicate details, valuable trims, previous damage and any special instructions. This helps the team record the article and discuss suitable care.
How do I ask about an existing order or raise a concern?

When are the stores open?
Stores are open Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Stores are closed on Sunday. Holiday timings may vary, so please call the store before a special visit.
How can I pay?
We accept UPI, digital wallets, online bank transfer and cash. Availability of a particular payment option may depend on the store or booking channel.
